| Melt chocolate with 4 tbsp's margarine
or butter; allow to cool. Beat eggs well in bowl with electric mixer
and gradually add the sugar. Beat until fluffy and thick - about
10 minutes. Stir in vanilla and chocolate mixture and blend. Fold
in salt and flour mixture, then walnuts. Combine until blended.
Pour into a buttered 9 x 13" pan and bake at 350F for 35 -
40 minutes. When baked, cake should be shiny firm on top and fudge-like
inside.
Do not overbake. Cut into squares when cool. |
